Book Launch Party: THE END, MY FRIEND: Prelude to the Apocalypse





Lemon Shark Press will release its Futuristic Thriller THE END, MY FRIEND: Prelude to the Apocalypse on August 28th, 2013.  The book is authored by Vista writer Kirby Wright.  This is a sort of prequel to THE HUNGER GAMES and the initial setting is San Diego County.

The book chronicles the deconstruction of Southern California after financial cyclones hit the economies of the world.  The starting point for the book is a subdivision in VIsta and it ends in Crater Lake, Oregon.  

Kirby Wright is a multiple winner at the San Diego Book Awards.  He is also a UCSD alum and 4-time Pushcart Prize nominee.  He will be signing first edition copies at Upstart Crow in Seaport Village on Sept. 29th from 7-9 pm, and at various Barnes & Noble locations throughout San Diego County.
